The Alya is one of the few office chairs available in South Africa that carries an Ergonomic Certification by TÜV SÜD. For your ultimate comfort, the following adjustments are possible: 

• Seat height.
• Weight Rating 150kg.
• The position of the lumbar support to improve posture and reduce lower back pain.
• Seat depth. This is important for taller users that need a deeper (longer) seat so that they have sufficient support under their thighs.
• The armrests are independently height adjustable by 70mm. In addition, the armrest pads can swivel inwards for extra comfort.
• The wire-controlled synchronous mechanism promotes dynamic sitting and allows the backrest angle to be adjusted. For greater comfort, the backrest can be locked in any one of 15 positions. 
• The tension adjustment on the tilting mechanism can be set to match your body weight. 

Furthermore, the automotive-grade moulded foam seat reduces aches and pains commonly associated with long periods of sitting.
